La profundidad de las superficies brings together a body of research that investigates photographs from their physicality. From works that postulate photography's complex links to scientific, philosophical and decolonial debates, and projects that investigate photography's relationship to ecology, artificial intelligence and archives, this book proposes new ways of (re)thinking our relationship to photographic objects in the present tense.
